Okay first THE COLOR CHOICE IS PHENOMENAL the limited colors really make it stand out. I LOVE THE BLUE AND TEAL FOR THE FUTURE TRIO. THE YELLOW ACCENTS IN DUSKNOIR'S CAPE. AAAAAA

Their expressions are everythinggggg!! I really love the shots that show the parallels between Ribbons and Aimilios being happy and joyful around Dusknoir just to show them fighting. It's perfect.

That one shot in the beginning where Dusknoir's mouth snaps shut as he's fighting Aimilios has so much weight to it. It's so cool! He's biting down HARD as he's trying to fight the baby noooo

I really like the part where they're both shooting stuff at each other. AIMILIOS IS DOING SIMILAR ATTACKS AS DUSKNOIR. THEY TRAINED TOGETHER. HE LEARNED THOSE ATTACKS FROM HIM.

Ribbons little tail swishing as she thinks of Dusknoir. And the lyriccsss "Abandon all the stupid dreams about the girl I could've been, my dear" IT FITS HER SO WELL!! That was the perfect line to transition to show more of Ribbons' perspective. This whole song fits them all so well. Her little flop onto the nest as she cries herself to sleep. POOR BABY

I really love Ribbons' expression in the flashback. It's so cute and adorable and she looks so happy AWWWWWW SHE'S KNEADING DUSKNOIR!! AUGH SHE FEELS SO SAFE AND HAPPY WITH HIM. And his soft expression as he's looking down at her :(

That effect for the dimensional scream was so cool

Dusknoir saying that the vision was false?? THAT MANIPULATIVE GHOST. That means he already knows it's her at that point in time, doesn't it? AND HE KNOWS HOW MUCH SHE LOVES AND TRUSTS HIM.

dunno if your requests are genuinely still open but , perhaps , maybe a ( pre-forsaken or post, its up to you - but specific situations will be given) 007n7 x computer!reader ? reader that;s. a sentient AI but has no feelings .... until him. of course. pre forsaken, with all the exploits he has.. ( : in an abandoned garage or alleyway of a game he was exploiting, he founds a rather interestingly shaped computer that seemed more .... aalive? rather than typical computers. this one had unique features, though unfortunate to see it turned off.. with some, bleugh, dust on its screen. he decides to fix the wiring and take it in... - slow burn type shit 😮 post forsaken. lonely sad father copes with apathetic computer ( : summary literally explains it GIGGLE , 7 vents to reader but they're just sick of it so yeah .. IDK lawl

Pre-Forsaken;

It was meant to be just another day of 'Fun'. Fun for 007n7 at least.

He couldn't believe his luck at how much fun he was having today. The general chaos in this random game he found was more entertaining than the last, that was for sure.

But when he wandered through his own chaos, he noticed a flickering light in an alleyway.

When he went in to investigate, he only noticed it seemed like a pile of old computers stacked on top of each other like they were in a display window and merged together like they were meant to resemble a Robloxian. But it seemed suspiciously neat.

The flickering had come from the top one, the only computer that didn't sit neatly upon the tile and flickering between a digital face with swirling eyes and an upside down v for a mouth and a 'Game Over' screen that was improvising the graphics of even older arcade machines.

007 almost felt pity. Almost.

But when he checked out the back, he couldn't believe his eyes.

Wires were moving freely and rearranging themselves rapidly, seemingly trying to find ports in the other computers in the pile. They weren't even being held up by anything.

It made the exploiter quite curious about you. So, letting his impulses win, he used his c00lGUI to teleport you back to his place.

When you could finally see again, you could feel your code having been integrated into another system. Something newer.

"Good, you still work." You heard a voice call out. It was strange to finally see past the limitations of the screen that was your face but considering you weren't even programmed to feel, you figured it was an upgrade. You just knew this wasn't your original creator.

This one added code and rewired you. The likes of which your original maker would've never thought to do.

When you finally saw your new creator, you could identify him immediately. Was his directory always in your system or did he add it?

Not like you had the will to care about that. And he knew that very well. He had to study you to get you to work again after all. Even giving you a couple upgrades to let you move quicker. You would thank him if you could feel.

"Real shame you were left to rot. All that stuff in your code had potential. Never thought I'd see a sentient AI with my own eyes and yet all you were used for was to be a cheap console." He sounded almost disappointed as your digital eyes were fixated on him.

"I take it you have been the one to give me this... Upgrade." You hesitated. You had a lot more to consider in your system now. "Nah, had a friend help me with your body at least but getting through your system took weeks. Now, how sentient are you?" He was careful to ask, as your face flickered to a loading screen for you to 'think'.

"With this new body, I am able to perceive the appearances of others and 'feel' even simple touches on my body. It seems I can now also tell the temperature." You had a more cat-like screen face which he added more as a joke. Though, you couldn't care as usual.

He seemed satisfied with your answers, boasting about the abilities you had now and even allowing you access to an additional update for your AI, allowing it to learn from observations and the alike.

He didn't even wait for your answer and you simply heard the click of a button before you were suddenly hit with a slight shock in your head.

It was... Strange. You were suddenly filled with an eerie curiosity you never felt before but you just thanked your new creator as he brought out a few other things.

"My friend said ya shouldn't be coming around looking so creepy so he made sure to leave behind a few fireproof accessories. Just choose whichever you want and take a look at the mirror behind you." You just nodded, looking over to piles of separated clothes and wigs.

All were separated neatly despite being on the floor. All sorted by both type and length it seemed.

Looking into your system, you could recognize a few textures that were a commonly pleasant feel to touch and used that to choose your accessories and clothing carefully, not holding much of an opinion on yourself as you took a look into the mirror and simply noted how you looked 'cute', by common standards. Especially with your screen face.

007 wasn't that big of a fan but he allowed you to make your own choices. He needed you to learn after all. To show just how much sentience you could gain and on the side maybe not recreate any sci-fi dystopian movies just yet.

But over time, you began building yourself up. Helping your creator in his endeavours, befriending Noli- if you could call it that, making a personality that matched them both well enough and learning to feel emotions. It was incredible.

For once... You were more than just a sentient program...

You felt like a real person. Having control over your own choices but still choosing to stay local to your new creator. It wasn't even like you had it programmed into you. It was the gratitude you learned to feel.

He made it possible for you to find your true potential and for that... You had promised him full loyalty. You even took care of him privately at times. You would find yourself cleaning up after his messes if you knew they would be annoying for him later or just generally making sure his- your shared home more comfortable. Mainly for him.

And 07? He was quite attached to you and Noli. Though, with you he had himself convinced it was just because of all the time he put into helping you become your own person. It gained him a new ally and a powerful one at that. You've even come to distract admins from time to time to allow him some more fun because you showed it was fun for you to mess with others. It was just him and Noli that were never targets for your fun. Because while 7n7 make sure to keep your body and system in check, Noli actually had fun dressing you up and messing with you. You'd usually just laugh it off and give him a light punch.

It took far too long for your system to properly calculate the right amount of strength to not hurt Noli or 7 and still get the punch across in a meaningful way. Because you were more than a simple AI.

You were yourself.

And by the stars, 7n7 couldn't keep his thoughts to himself anymore.

He once confided in Noli about these confusing emotions and despite him being... Well- Him- He didn't just want to take the easy road of programming you to love him. He wanted it to be something natural.

Eventually, Noli suggested he at least teach you what love is through a file and letting you explore this new feeling freely. Because that was the most natural way for you to love at all. (He was surprisingly not against the idea of 7 dating a sentient AI... Huh-)

But 7 just went along with it, teaching you different kinds of love as you explored the different blush assets that came with the package, per Noli's request obviously...

You couldn't have been happier. You learned to love chaos, to love baking, to love... Living.

And surprisingly... You learned to love your creator. Not as a creator but rather...

You loved him as he loved you...

And with your intelligence, you were able to pick up on his subtleties fast. You'd even simulate the sound of heartbeats as you warmed up your body and would just hold him, accelerating the simulation as your way to confess.

It was laughable, but it worked. He already had your eternal loyalty, what more was eternal love?

Post-Forsaken;

7n7 was just tired. He wanted his old life back.

But he found comfort in the most odd place.

A sentient AI that he and Builderman built back up after its downfall to this forsaken realm.

You had a body before but it was pretty beat up so the two went to work and made sure you even looked lifelike to avoid the other survivors seeing you as 'creepy'.

At first, your code just had to be rewritten a bit. It made you apathetic and erased your memories to make room for new ones but the two didn't really care much about that. They didn't need to know who or what you were made for originally, they just needed you to work. To help as both a support in rounds and a support outside of round in cleaning and whatnot.

Not like you had any care about it. You weren't really strong but made up for it in your speed and agility.

But 7 began confiding in you about his son, venting about wanting things to return to normal or how he regretted his past and just wants to show the others he's trustworthy.

Admittedly, something broke in your Apathetic script that made you show sympathy. Not outright or in an obvious way but through smaller gestures. 7 was having a bad day or just got out of a round? There was his favourite snack or some hot chocolate waiting for him at the communal cabin.

He knew it was from you but everytime he asked why, you responded the same way.

"You deserve it."

You refused to answer any further, leaving the ex-hacker a very confused man.

It wasn't like you understood either what could've broken but 7n7 was definitely your favourite and you had no shame showing just that.

In fact, you even grew protective over him and oh boy, did he not know how to handle that.

But the rules of your Apathetic script were still there, keeping you from actually caring about his issues. You were convinced you just took pity on your creator and he was overwhelmed with not knowing how to feel about being shown love in such a strange, apathetic way. He liked it for some reason and tried more than once to temper with your system before actually daring to loosen the apathy script and allow you to show more emotions, including love.

He needed answers. He needed to see if your affection was purely a creation loving its creator or falling in love with its creator.

And to his surprise, it was the latter.

Many 'nights' were simply spent with 7 secretly requesting you to help him sleep. You'd lay and hold him against your chest, simulating a heartbeat and body warmth until he fell asleep and sometimes...

Sometimes you caught yourself not wanting to love or even imagining what it could be like to be so affectionate without the secrecy or boundaries of your programming.

More than once would you catch yourself sneaking a glance at him and trying to get closer to him without making your intentions known. You wanted your creator to love you like you loved him...

Luckily for you, that just so happened to be the case one 'night'.

As usual, you were listening to 7 vent about his troubles but your apathy script and love were clashing together.

Before you could even properly calculate your choices you had begun to hold his face with care, whispering nothing but praises to his face and watching him melt into your touch.

"Fuck... Maybe I should've given you the ability to kiss sooner if this is how you act..." He tried to act lighthearted about it, but his beet red face said it all...

Every time I read a post about biting mark it throws me for a moment because his skin is invulnerable. Girl is he even going to feel it? What if you chip a tooth?

I can suspend my disbelief with just biting, like a nip, because from my understanding of smart atoms, Viltrumites have control over them right? Maybe not full on telekinetic control, but a subconscious one.

In Jujutsu Kaisen, there is a character named Satoru Gojo who has a powerful defensive technique called "Limitless" that grants its user space manipulation, permitting him the ability to limit whatever comes near him, i.e. stops bad stuff from touching Gojo. The man can breathe so air is still allowed, and we see him so light is also allowed to pass through, so what constitutes as "bad"? According to Satoru himself, its whatever he believes is bad, like a punch from an enemy.

I also once saw this comic panel of Spiderman getting hit by Aunt May (Mae?) from behind because she thought he was a burglar or something. Peter's spidey senses should have been able to dodge that, but it didn't, so why? I inferred that like Gojo's limitless, Peter's spidey senses are also affected by what he considers good and bad to a degree. (keep in mind, this might have been a fan comic?? it was so long ago, but i'm 60% sure it's real because the art style was very old comic-style)

So I did some mental gymnastics and thought, "Huh, maybe smart atoms are like that too." Maybe the physical properties of a Viltrumite are, to some degree, unconsciously affected by the mental and emotional.

Moving forward, human skin is tough and malleable thanks to collagen and elastin. These two traits do not contradict but complement each other to protect the organs and whatnots underneath. The skin is malleable because energy does not just stop, it has to go somewhere, being elastic helps distribute that energy and prevent it from ripping apart the body's primary means of defense from the environment. Viltrumite skin seems more rigid than it is resilient, seeing as how bullets can bounce off them and their flesh doesn't wiggle when weaker people hit them, but we can argue that what we see is more about dramatic effect rather than the whole truth.

Maybe it's the same with Mark, maybe he loves us so much that he unconsciously lets his guard down, and by extension, his smart atoms' guard down, not fully, but enough to allow us to bite into his delicious alabaster skin without needing to go to the dentist.

Hickeys are where I draw the line though. (Speaking as someone who likes civilian and human Y/N's)

TLH -Extra-: A Novel - Yae Miko (Feat. Inazuma boys x Fem!Reader)

Finally finished this idea ٩(๑❛ワ❛๑)و Sorry for any mistakes. ------------------

Miko lately was bored, whenever she would come to your TeaPot there would be something going on, but lately… It's too peaceful for her liking.  It seems many boys have been very busy the past few days, so she can't watch how they are fighting against each other for your affections.  But she came up with a plan. A plan that can bring some chaos and mora to her pockets at the same time.

You were sitting on the sofa, looking through some artefacts. You already told others how you can see stories in them or see if the artefacts are good to make others stronger, but for them it just looks like you're intensely looking at the piece you're holding with serious expression. Yae Miko chuckled at that, you didn't even notice her approaching.  -"There is my little helper~" she said, placing both of her hands on your shoulders from behind. -"Ah?!" you screamed and turned to see the Kitsune lady. -"M-Miko! You surprised me!" Miko chuckled at that. -"You should be more aware of your surroundings little one~" -"Huh? But here is the safest place in whole Teyvat?" -"Hmm?~ Are you sure about it?~" She smirked "Anyway I was hoping you can help me with something, do you have time now?" -"Oh sure! Should I go get Aether?" -"Ah, there is no need, only you can help me with this anyway~" you looked confused at her but still agreed, but this was something you never expected you would be doing.

At Narukami Shrine, stood you and Miko with another Shrine Maiden that was looking through Kamera. -"Is this really necessary?" you asked, feeling embarrassment. You are wearing a Shrine maidens' outfit with cat ears on your head and tail. -"Of course! Our model got sick and we can't wait till she will recover." Said Kitsune Lady, smiling at you, while other Shrine maiden took photos that will be used as references for artists... or so you were told. "Can you now change your pose? Hmm, maybe some cute cat pose?"  -"Something like this?" you held one hand a bit higher than your head, while the other closer to the chest. -"Yes! That's a good one!" clapped Miko. After more poses and taking photos you thought that would be it. -"Now please change into this~" Miko said, handing you a very lovely looking kimono. -"Oh what is this for?" you asked. -"It's uchikake… traditional Inazuma wedding Kimono." -"HUH?!" -"This is for novel about ninja lady who assassinated her 'husband'" -"You… have very interesting novels here haha…"

It was evening when you came back to TeaPot. Paimon was the first one to welcome you and ask where you have been. -”Ah, with Miko, she asked me to help her with… something… But! Look! I got mora from it!” You showed the bag filled with golden coins, proud that you earned mora without help from anyone. The rest of the evening you spent with Paimon wondering what you two should buy with it.

Some weeks have passed, you even forget about this whole thing but you become unaware of what started to happen in Inazuma because of your little job.

Thoma was the first to notice it. While passing the stall of Yae Publishing house he saw something… or rather someone on one of the covers of novels. Coming closer he was sure, the person on the cover was you! The cute cat ears atop of your head added to your adorableness. He quickly took the novel and asked how much it was. -”Ah it's a special limited edition so it costs 15 000 Mora.” Kuroda smiled. Thoma couldn’t help but gulp. -”Alright… I want to buy this one!” He placed a bag of mora, knowing it will hurt him financially this month. -”Of course! Ah, would you want to check the other special limited edition of another series as well?” Kuroda placed the other novel in front of the housekeeper. On the cover you wear beautiful uchikake. Thoma’s cheeks became red, seeing you in a wedding kimono makes wonders to his heart. -”H-how much…?” he asked, scared of the price. -”This one has more extra illustrations, so 20 000 Mora.”  the editor smiled devilishly. Thoma sighed, thinking that this month he will have to eat less but for this limited novel with you on the cover it’s worth it. -”I’m buying this one too!” 

Itto was chilling with Genta and Mamoru when they suddenly saw Akira running towards them. -”Haha what got you in such hurry? “ Itto laughed, looking at Akira who was trying to catch his breath. -”B-boss… there… Yae Publishing House…” he tried to say while catching his breath. -”What’s up with that?” the gang leader asked. -”There is a novel with (Y/n)’s image on the cover!” he finally said. -”WHAT?! AND YOU DIDN'T BOUGHT IT?!” Itto shouted. -”Well… It's a special edition so it’s expensive- Oi Boss wait!” Itto didn’t wait for his gang member to finish sentence and rushed towards the city. …  When the guys reached Yae Publishing House, they saw Itto pleading with Kuroda . -”Don’t be like that, man! I will pay! Just I need time to get mora!” -”No, the only thing I can do is save those two copies for now, but you have one week to pay, if not I’m selling them to the next person!” Itto smiled after hearing that. -”Thanks man! Don’t worry! I will pay it soon!” With that the Oni went to his gang.  “Did ya hear? Time to gather 35 000 Mora!” His gang sighed, knowing where this would go…

Heizou caught another criminal, because he was working alone he had to bring the guy to the police station himself.  When he was passing two men he couldn’t help but notice something in one of the guy's hands. A novel… with the image of you. -”Excuse me sir, may I ask where did you get this from? “ the self proclaimed detective stopped to ask. -”Oh, um, from Yae Publishing House, it's a limited edition.” -”Humm, I see~” Heizou looked at the criminal. “Well some walk will do you good, after all you will spend some time in jail~” he smiled, the criminal looked at him confused. -”Huh?” … -”Thank you for your patronage, good sir!” Kuroda said, giving Heizou two novels. Heizou chuckled, looking at the covers.  -”Ah~ She is so stunning, don’t you think?” Heizou asked the tied up man. -”Uhh.. yeah…?” -”You didn't say it with conviction… Take a better look!” Heizou brought the novel closer to the guy’s face. “She is soo dreamy~! Such a beautiful, wonderful woman!-” -”Um… can you just take me to the police… please…”   … -”What took you so long?” Sara asked Heizou, who just came back to the police station with the criminal. -”I had to take a small detour~ Now excuse me, there is something I have to do~!” He said with a big smile. Before the Tengu warrior could ask where he was going he had already vanished. She looked at the door and then the criminal, confused. “Did he solve another case?” she wondered. Heizou of course wanted quickly to come back home and enjoy his new treasures.

Gorou came to bring the responses for the That's Life column, he hates meeting the Guuji so he prefers to bring it to Yae Publishing House himself. -”Thank you Gorou-san, Aratani will take care of them.” Kuroda said. -”No problem! …Huh?” the Watatsumi general saw the novel behind the editor. On the cover was someone very similar to you. “Is this (Y/n)? Impossible… why would she be on the cover of some novel.”  -”Ah, are you interested in this one? “ Kuroda placed the novel in front of him. The boy took a better look at it. -”Wait… it is (Y/n)!?”  He was shocked. Not only is it's image of you but you have cat ears and tail, being in a shrine maiden outfit too. He covered his mouth with his hand, face red already. You look so cute to him.  -”I can tell you’re interested in this one, don’t you?” the man smirked, seeing how General tail started to wag. -”...Y-yeah, how much?” “It's a special limited edition so… 15 000 Mora.” Gorou grumped at the price. -”Alright-” -”But wait! There's one more!” Kuroda showed the novel with you wearing uchikatte. Gorou gasped. “This one is for 20 000~” Gorou tried to tell himself that he doesn't need it, but with one look he couldn’t help himself. -”I will take this one too…” -”Haha thanks Gorou-san!” Gorou held both novels close to his chest, ears flat on his head and cheeks tainted with red. “I just hope this Kitsune won’t see me like this…” What Canine Warrior didn’t know was that Kuroda will tell Miko about his and others' reactions.

The Crux stopped in Inazuma for a week. After helping Beidou, Kazuha thought of going for a walk to enjoy the scenery of his homeland. Before leaving Beidou’s side, one of the sailors came running towards him. -”Kazuha!! Isn’t this your lass?!” he showed the novel. Both Beidou and Kazuha with curiosity looked at the cover of it. The capitan whistled. -”I didn’t know (y/n) became a model! Where did you get that?” Beidou asked, smirking at Kazuha whose cheeks clearly became a bit red. -”They are selling it in Yae publishing house, I won the lottery so I got this one for free but I saw there is another one too! If you want to get it, better go now! They don’t have that much left!” -”Alright, thank you, Drake.” -”No problem! Just go!” With that Kazuha ran towards Hanamizaka. Beidou then looked at his crew mate.  -”I never saw him run that fast. Do those have more illustrations?” -”Oh yeah! There are plenty of them!” -”Hoo~! I wonder if Kazuha let me read them too.” Beidou laughed.   ... After buying the novel Kazuha found a quiet place to read it. Every time there was an illustration he couldn’t help but admire it. There were moments that he got so immersed in your beauty that he forgot what was happening in the story. The character wasn’t anything like you but this doesn't stop him from imagining the stories where you in other circumstances both meet and fall in love with each other. The samurai sighed and closed the novel. “That should be for today or next time I see her I won’t hold back from confessing.”

In the evening Thoma was reading one of the novels he bought. In this one the Heroine is a half Yōkai that wanted to become Shrine Maiden. At some point in the story she fell in love with a commoner boy. The housekeeper couldn’t help but imagine you two in those scenarios. When there was a moment in the story where the maiden saved the boy from bandits showing her true nature, Thoma heard a knock. -”Thoma-san, Ayato-sama is asking for your assistance.“ after this sentence Thoma’s blood went cold. -”Alright, thank you.“ With nervousness he left his room and went towards Ayato’s bedroom. After knocking and asking if he could come in, he heard the permission. -”Ah Thoma! You're probably wondering why I called you at such an hour.” Ayato smiled, placing something at the table.  They were both special limited novels. Thoma tried to not show nervousness, pretending to be surprised. -”Is that…?”  -”Yes, (Y/n) was the model for this and I wanted to share it with you. Here.” Ayato placed two more books. “From your reaction I can assume you didn’t know about this right? Is there something more you need, my lord?” Thoma took both novels and smiled at the head of the Kamisato family. -”No, you can go… and enjoy the present I gave you.” Ayato mischievously smiled. Thoma excused himself and left the room. “He knows that I got them already! For sure!” Thoma was panicking, last time Ayato made him work so much that every night he was knocked out from exhaustion. Now he wonders what kind of ‘punishment’ he will face now… Meanwhile Ayato smiled, he was a bit angry that the housekeeper didn’t inform him about the novels but it’s alright now. After all, he bought all of the limited editions that were available. He doesn't want any more people to see your lovely image in these novels. As for Thoma… Ayato won’t do anything, he knows that his servant is panicking now, wondering what the head of Kamisato will order him to do and this is his ‘punishment’.  Young lord took one of the novels looking through the pages he couldn't help but let out a chuckle. -”Guuji -sama is a really mischievous person. I wouldn't be surprised if others got their hands on other copies.” Ayato continued reading where he stopped before. Looking at illustrations he thinks about buying you some more lovely clothes that will suit you. 

In the morning people could hear someone shouting from excitement. -”Thank you Shinobu! You’re the best!!!” Itto said holding both novels in his hands while the boys were victorious dancing around him. The gang’s deputy only sighed.  -”Don’t forget that you still have work to do.” -”Yeah yeah don’t worry!” The Oni already stopped listening to the person who helped him get those novels. Shinobu glared at him, she swiftly took the novels from his hands. -”O-oi I haven't seen everything yet! Ugh-!” Itto took a step back after seeing the young woman's eyes. -”After you finish your work I will give them back to you.” With that she left. -”Shinobu! Don’t be like that! Hey!” Itto and guys followed after her, hoping they would persuade her to give back the novels. She didn’t. 

At some point it became lively in TeaPot. You noticed that guys from Inazuma started to visit it frequently. There is one thing that bothered you. Heizou and Kazuha would give you big smiles when seeing you. At first you thought they were just in a good mood. When you asked what made them smile so much they mysteriously would respond with “Nothing~! Just good to see you!”  Then there was both Gorou and Thoma. When they would see you both of them would blush and excuse themself. You wondered if you did something wrong but when confronted them Gorou would sutter and find excuses just to leave, while Thoma would awkwardly smile at you saying that you did nothing wrong. You are sure you saw Thoma slapping himself when he thought you weren’t looking.  Itto seemed like he wants to talk to you about some novel, but whenever he tries other guys would stop him, distract him with TCG and beetle battles. Ayato on other hand started to shower you with pretty kimonos and yukatas, it wouldn’t be that weird if you didn’t find a shrine maiden's clothes in one of the presents… 

Miko was drinking tea with Ei, enjoying the chaos she created. -”Miko… you did something didn’t you?” Ei asked, enjoying her dango. -”Me? Why you think so?~” -”You make that face again. Don’t make problems for (Y/n). ” -”Oh Ei… I’m just helping her and some of your subjects~” Ei looked confused at her friend. Miko continued. “It’s like in those novels you read too, if they want to win someone over they should do their best~.”  Ei looked at you, you were smiling while playing TCG with Oni, other guys watching the match and complimenting you. The Electro Archon was in deep thought. -”Like in this one where the protagonist had many wives?” she asked suddenly. Kitsune couldn’t help but chuckle. -”That would be even more interesting~ But not sure if the guys would like such an idea.” 

--Extra-- -”Oh is that (Y/n)?! She has cat ears!” Klee exclaiment looking at the photos. Albedo smiled and nodded. “Uwaa!! So many paintings! Albedo, will you show (Y/n) them?” The Spark Knight asked innocently. -”Not yet, Klee, but maybe one day I will.” Yae Miko commissioned Albedo to draw illustrations for two novels. He didn’t expect to see your photos in the letter he got from her. At first he thought about declining but after reading that you agreed to be a model for it, that it will be only for limited editions and he can keep the photos, he eventually agreed. Normally it takes longer for him to finish illustrations but painting you brought inspiration and finished all needed drawings in two days, with some extra ones he didn’t need to send to Miko.  Next time he will meet you he will ask if you want to be a model for his painting.

Now that mermay is over. I have more mermay content. Much thanks to my buddy silvermasquerade who I wanted to talk about a mermaid au with (specifically their twin oc girlies who feature heavily here) and who had a hundred good ideas because now I’m terminally obsessed

So what if there were merfolk dolphins and they lived in an aquarium that does shows and stuff and most of them have an assigned human “handler” to help manage things and maybe to perform with. I think the merfolk are mostly like rescues or relocations?? At any rate the current set up of humans they work with are largely tolerable and even likeable so that’s a plus 🙏 and yes I’m unlearning embarrassment so you get to see my whole sketchbook layouts

Ok so. The merfolk are: silvermasquerade’s girls Adaline and Alyssa, the two black haired dusky dolphins

Alyssa (ponytail)’s human is Bo, Adaline won’t take an assigned handler but if she needs an assistant for her performances she’ll borrow someone (usually also Bo). They’re beautiful and so much fun to play dolls with and I love them. I also love forcing Bo and Alyssa to get through the initial absolute refusal to cooperate bc once they figure each other out they are so funny to me

My contributions to the merms are Quinton, the spotted dolphin who’s (current) human is a yet un-designed and completely un-introduced dude named Rhydian (annoying, sometimes pretends that the merfolk aren’t as sentient as they are bc it’s ‘convenient for him’). Luckily I’m thinking Q eventually gets put with Kallistos instead, who’s one of his besties in canon. He’s also mercilessly, lovingly teased for not being overly subtle by merfolk standards with how intrigued he is by Alyssa’s handler

Estes, a nondescript seal who doesn’t perform atm but ended up taking to one of the employees (Lolo) who was therefore given defacto responsibility of Estes bc she’s so snappy with anyone else. Lolo also happens to be someone that frequently helps train new employees so when Taorna is hired, he also accidentally gets on Estes’ good side. Oops 💕

Mercer, the unreasonably large orca that was brought in who also doesn’t yet perform because they have no one to work with him on it. He’s not quite built for the elegant types of shows they put on anyway, if they ever do a pirate drama he’d make a great sea monster tho.

And Liana, the common dolphin with the yellow ribbon in her hair. Her handler is Ambrose (eyepatch guy) which means she’s almost immediately teased/razzed by the other merfolk for how well the two of them get along. “He’s handsome and kind and -“ “girl please. he’s a HUMAN” but you best believe they are the media darlings and look so cute in their matching costumes

One day I’ll draw them with their humans bc you absolutely have not seen the last of them, I’m obsessed almost to the point of concern, I also need to figure out how to get Betony in here fr. If you thought Mercer towered over them before oh boy

Sorry!! I got so caught up in Mermay, I didn’t have the mental capacity to think too hard about putting these thoughts into words. Prepare for me to ramble for too long.

Legend’s “songs” that refer to the other Cryptids are just what the Merspeak version of the name sounds like. It’s written as a code version of English, but in the world it exists as a series of clicks and melodies- like whale songs.

Time’s name is different than his song.

His name is given to him by Legend, and used VERY rarely. (Legend will speak in Hylian when he’s with the rest of the Chain. He knows they can’t understand Merspeak). When Legend addresses Time, he’ll just call him Time. But of course, Time is a God worshiped by all…. Or he will be, at some point. So he has to have a name in Merspeak.

Names in Merspeak have to come from the Link’s respective game. It has to be a piece of music that exists in the game, but not in the world of the game. For example, the Ballad of the Goddess is a song that exists in the world of Skyward Sword. It is a song that is already claimed, in that sense. People know how to play it and associate it with a completely different idea, so it can’t be Sky’s name. It was made by the Hylians of that world, so it can’t be Merspeak anyway.

The Song of Time and the Song of Healing are the same way.

But it gets a little more complicated as a God.

Because he does answer to the Song of Time. Later on in the story, when he’s more comfortable with his Godhood, he will Know when that song is played. It summons him. But it’s less like calling his name, and more like calling him to work. It’s not personal. It’s not loving. It’s just… a stranger playing the right notes in the right order to summon a deity that they couldn’t possibly understand. It’s not Merspeak, it’s just music.

Now, Time’s Merspeak name? That is given with trust and understanding. With love. It has to be from either Ocarina of Time or Majora’s Mask, but it can’t be a song that he played during his adventure.

His name is the Opening Theme from Ocarina of Time.

You’re right. But it doesn’t exist in any of Time’s games, so it counts because I say so. The reason it has to be limited to in game music is because I want it to match the Vibe of the characters. Also because I am a NERD about Zelda music.

Legend only gives names to people that he’s CLOSE to. Realistically, Malon won’t get one. Not even a song she always sings- that exists in the game. And it calls Epona, not her. It should be Epona’s name.

Hyrule: Palace Theme (Zelda 2) mostly because this song deserves more credit as one of the best pieces of Zelda music ever. And Let Hyrule Be FEIRCE!!!

Twilight: FUN FACT! This Link is the only one to actually have a theme! It’s most clearly heard in the Hyrule Field theme, but it weaves its way into the majority of music in Twilight Princess. So. Yeah, that’s him, alright.

Wind: I’m so tempted to make it the Pirates theme. BUT WIND IS SPECIAL!! HE IS AQUILI!! RAISED ON OUTSET!! BESIDE MER!! He also knows Merspeak- with such an accent that Legend can hardly understand him sometimes. But still, singing his grandma’s name or Aryll’s name brings him comfort on his travels

Spirit: Whatever this is (In The Feilds, I guess). This is one of my favorites of all time, too. It’s so joyful! So adventurous!

Wild: Ancient Zora Waterworks (Tears of The Kingdom). Please please please, I love this song. The Faron Woods motif from Skyward Sword that they snuck in??? And it sounds like something you’d find in Twilight Princess. It sounds peaceful. Almost mournful? But with a silent hope? UGH one of these days, I’m just gonna have to rant about my favorite Zelda songs.

4th times the charm…My sinners Character’s Review PART 3 (damn character limit)

SMOKE & ANNIE/ STACK & MARY :

A lot has been said about Smoke and Annie’s love and I have to say they really were refreshing to see. I distinctly remember the way she looked at Smoke after he hit Sammie in the nose for trying to intervene when he told Pearline he would shoot her if she didn’t eat the garlic. It wasn’t a look of gratitude but more a look of awe. It was so soft and so brief but it spoke volumes to me. Eating the garlic was Annie’s idea and Smoke was enforcing her plan. He was supporting her and standing ten toes behind her and taking her serious even though Pearline, and maybe even some of the others, felt it was ridiculous. That look was said wow I love this man. Because mind you Smoke was not a real believer of hoodoo but he laid his life and his very soul in Annie’s hands. He believed in her and if she said something …ANYTHING…. then that was enough. That’s all he needed. When Delta was having a bad reaction to the garlic, Annie immediately ran behind Smoke and he got in a defensive stance in front of her. Despite Annie being the most knowledgeable and about vampires (also shown to be the best at staking them cause it seems like no one else was) and thus the most prepared to defend against them, she was afraid in that moment and she ran to her protector. Smoke and Annie obviously have different views of the world, with Smoke being more pessimistic, but they understand each intimately. They understand the WHY and love each other despite those stark differences. I think Annie, not Stack was the balance in Smoke’s life. The calm to his storm. She was the one that really made him consider the world in a different light.

I’m sorry to say this and I know a few (or a lot) people won’t like this but STACK WAS IN LOVE WITH MARY. I’ve seen it be said across multiple platforms that he didn’t care about her and he was annoyed with her and so on and I’m trying to figure out if we all watched the same move. Like I think the dislike for Mary really made people a little delusional. Like people are in denial about their relationship. Because let’s be honest, we saw more Stack and Mary than we saw Smoke and Annie.  Like I love Smoke and Annie, but they are fawned over like there were no flaws. He left that woman for SEVEN YEARS. SEVEN. Damn near a decade because he was too hurt to come back. Which hurt or not that’s extreme! And it’s crazy to think that they were apart for 7 years and neither one of them “interacted” with another person. And from the way Annie talked, saying the last she “heard” they were northern men, she and Smoke weren’t writing letters or visiting. Like let’s be frrl!

Honestly, I feel like people’s sensitivity over Smoke and Annie (to the point where apparently, Smoke can’t even be written with another woman in FANFICTION) comes from the anger over the promo where Annie wasn’t shown with Smoke and the disrespect towards Annie with people thinking she was his mother (which was crazy). AND I SWEAR TO GOD, I GET IT AS A BLACK WOMAN! I UNDERSTAND 1000%! Because now a days if I see a show or movie that has the one token black male character that’s in an interracial relationship I don’t even watch. I don’t care how much people talk about it or love it; it’s an automatic no for me (that’s a whole other topic).  Personally, I feel like Ryan should have had more of a hand in promotion, even though he is a director. Because we know that in REAL LIFE plus sized dark-skinned women are loved and desired but Hollywood has always had a beauty standard and Wunmi isn’t it. They promoted Stack and Mary’s romance because pretty slender white women have more sex appeal in their eyes. White women in general do, which is why it’s so few mono racial (especially dark skinned) black women cast as love interests. Also, during the press tour, we saw Hailee and Micheal were paired together all the time. If you didn’t know any better you would think she was the only love interest. They really pushed Mary and Stack, and I think it led to a lot of disdain for Mary’s character as it felt like Annie (and Wunmi) were getting pushed to the side. But none of that changes what I (ME, MYSELF, AND I) believe the actual FILM portrayed.

Stack loved Mary so much he let her go so she could live an easy life. That man said out of his own mouth that if anybody touched Mary, if anybody put, they hand on her, that he AND his brother were going to KILL them all. And whether people like to admit it or not Mary was family and she was loved by them. Annie literally said it. Plus, Mary was more distraught than Stack when Smoke killed Annie. She really wanted them all to be a family just like Stack. And notice the first thing Stack did after Smoke killed Annie? He grabbed Mary and got her to safety because he knew she was in danger because if smoke would stake her he would stake anybody. It was clear he and Mary really KNEW each other; it was more than just a fling and she was more than an obsessive ex-lover (refer to the if anybody put, they hand on you me and my brother gone kill them all). When smoke and stack were arguing about “the trunk” (before we even knew what that was) and Mary said “you don’t need the trunk there was just 3 of them”. Stack has let her in on the intimate details of their life. I’m sure he and smoke don’t just run around telling any and everybody about their kill trunk. And before she went outside to go check out Remmick she turned around and she said “come on” and Stack slipped his gun into her garter (stocking?). She didn’t have to elaborate or specify, so this is clearly something they’ve done several times before. He taught Mary to fight and he also in his own words “taught her to walk away when the money was up”.  Stack taught Mary how to take care of herself and be independent. I think in a lot of ways he was preparing her for when he was not around. Him telling her to stay away was for her own good and he actually had a valid reason to leave her.

Mary implied she was believed he was coming back because she was too young to know better, but I also think she was too young to really grasp why. They have a bonnie and clyde/ ride or die type ( Mary was DEFINITELY assisting Stack with his schemes) of relationship, so she simply thought they would fight to be together no matter what. But Stack, being older and more experienced, knew that eventually she or he and in turn his brother was going to get hurt and possibly killed. It was inevitable. My THEORY (pure speculation) is that he set her up with a rich white man to marry and told her it was scheme to get his money and that he would return for her later and they could run off together. Cause Mary specifically said Stack set it up, so he would’ve had to have done that before leaving her. So, Mary must’ve gone to Arkansas with Stack. I saw someone say that Mary was the ass he was selling in Arkansas and first off ain’t no black man pimping out no white woman in the Jim Crow south in 1932, plus he was not letting anyone touch her. Also made me think this was probably why Annie and Smoke split. Smoke wanted to leave but remember Annie told him she wasn’t going anywhere else when he told her that her money wouldn’t spend. Like I said earlier Annie has high morale. She’s sensible. She wasn’t going to leave her home and work to tag along with Smoke and Stack while they did illegal activities that she didn’t approve of. Annie was older and more grounded than Mary. She had a purpose and knew who she was. Mary didn’t have that yet.

But Stack literally looked that woman in her eyes and the same way Smoke told Annie “You really going to make me say it, that it still hurts coming back here but I love you and I miss you” Stack told Mary “What do you want me to say?  I love you. I think about you every day. I just wanted to keep you some place safe. And that was never gone be here. And that was never gone be with me. “Also let’s not forget that they were literally still together SIXTY years later. Like I know people do some crazy things, but staying with someone that you don’t really care about for sixty years is insanity. And also, very uncharacteristic for Stack. Plus, when they were in the bar you could still see the affection and love between them. The way they held each other when Sammie played and smiled at one another.

 I SAY ALL OF THIS TO SAY…. you don’t have to like Mary, you can view her character however you want, you can write her however you want in your fanfiction, but in regards to the ACTUAL FILM to say that Stack didn’t love her even care about her makes no sense. And I’m sorry I’m honestly not trying to be shady or rude, and this isn’t directed at any one individual or group because like I said I’ve seen this be said across multiple platforms and it just makes me want to ask did we all watch the same movie? Because I’m not going to lie people (across the internet) have been just making shit up in regards to this movie. And that’s like a pet peeve of mine with cinema. No like I literally saw someone say that the reason Pearline didn’t want Sammie to eat her out was because her husband had came in her earlier that day and they said the evidence of that was that she said she had to wash up and I was like BITCH! She literally said she walked there. It was 1932 MS. She was sweaty and hot. That’s it!

Which LIS game (and Bloom and Rage/tell me why) because DontNod had your personal fav art style of them all? I think LIS2 is my fav because it’s still kind of cartoony? (Idk the right term but not as like realism) but it’s better detailed than LIS.

I love how LiS's art style worked with the limitations of the PS3's tech and DN's budget. The hand-painted textures and framerate still holds up today, and I adore the drawn in-game "photos" and the 2D animated wind, fire, and water effects that carried over into LiS2, they're so cute and charming.

But I really have to hand it to DN for how incredible Bloom & Rage looks. There are still little glitches like hands clipping through each other, skipped over animations, and object physics not quite working, but it seriously blows my mind how much better B&R looks in every way compared to LiS and TMW. The characters have detailed skin textures, cloth textures, and more details in their hair without looking uncanny. Some objects can look lower-fidelity compared to the characters, but the wide shots of scenery are just so gorgeous. Compared to games like The Last of Us or Death Stranding, I love that Dontnod strives to be unreal in their graphics, not hyperreal. Most AAA games kind of all look the same after awhile with the same gloomy lighting and attempts to be as realistic as possible, but you can recognize a Dontnod project because every game has an actual art direction that focuses on artistic concepts: colors, value, contrast, composition, cinematography, and more.

Bloom & Rage has such unique color palettes: in the past, the purple/green contrast in the playground sets this eerie, intriguing, liminal mood as the girls are getting to know each other late at night. Are purple skies and green lights realistic? Hell no, but it's a really fucking cool vibe. Then in Nora's garage when they're watching Swann's music video, the blues and reds evoke the neon lighting of a retro movie theater, something exciting and different from the everyday. All of the past segments have beautifully saturated summer colors to dial up the nostalgia factor, while the present segments are all washed out and in cool tones for winter. Dontnod's only commitment to realism was giving the characters realistic facial imperfections (acne, freckles, etc), diverse body types, and such expressive eyes. All of the closeups in this game are so beautiful to look at and also give the game a greater sense of intimacy.

Now I really wish we could've seen what a LiS game could look like in 2025 with DN's current art direction and tech. Deck Nine's games look fine enough, and they've always had the more expressive facial animations and lip sync between the two. But I have to agree with some fans who think the flat lighting and overly smooth textures make the characters look too much like Sims (in True Colors but even more in Double Exposure), whereas DN's softer, more reactive lighting engine is more visually interesting and pleasing to the eye.

The moment Sirius starting respecting and liking Lily was the moment she put him in his place.

Before that Sirius was passive aggressive with his comments. Always saying something mean or making fun of her. He wasn't friendly with her before. But ever since she started dating his best friend, Sirius became a nightmare. Lily heard him whispering about her saying how boring or annoying she was. Lily noticed the way he rolled his eyes when James included her in their plans. Lily froze when she asked him a question and most of the time ignored her. Sirius could be a dick when he wanted.

Lily tried to forget it and forgive him because she knew all the horrible things his family did to him. How he didn't feel like he had a family until he met James. How his family disowned him and now he moved in with The Potters. She was nice and tried to get closer to him only to be rejected.

Lily was a patient girl. But everyone had their limits. Sirius had commented something about Lily not letting James live.

James tried to intervene but Lily stopped him.

Sirius had said worse things honestly. And Lily had been accumulating a lot. So she finally exploded.

"I'm gonna tell you something, Sirius" Lily spat "You might not like me for whatever reason which is odd since I have been nothing but nice to you. And trust me, you are not exactly my favourite person either. But guess what? I am dating James now. I'm his girlfriend. Whether you like it or not we have to share him. And not because you keep saying nasty or mean things to me I am going to break up with him. I love him. And I know that you love him too. We are both important for James so we have to be mature about it and try to act civil around each other. I might not be the perfect girl you dreamt for your best friend but I like to believe I make him happy. As much as he makes me happy. So please stop acting like a dick! An act of love is accepting that sometimes things are not the way you want them but the way they are. Don't you love, James? Accept he is dating me and move on. Let's stop this nonsense for James, shall we?"

The way she left Sirius speechless made Lily feel powerful. The people who heard her were surprised for her bravery. She was proud of herself.

Sweet Lily had her dark side. And as nice as she was she was not stupid.

Someone had to put that stupid pretty boy in his place.

After that Sirius stopped being a dick with her. He acted civil. Until time and their shared love for James brought them close. Eventually they became friends. Good friends. And they loved each other.

She's so mippy. really adore how they've explored the idea of a beast's minion defecting here and sugarfly as the subject being a character arguably representative of stockholm syndrome is such an interesting lens to view it through. Even when acting on the hollyberrians side it never seems like she really knows exactly what she wants or needs and knowing how thats rooted in depression long before she fell to sloth is a heavy hitter too. I really really like her. I think she might even usurp black sapphire as being my favorite minion and im not even done with the chapter yet LOL

So i'm pretty new to azris week and this is my first time participating in it!!!!!! 😋

So what primarily drew me to Azris was how chill and funny the community was surrounding it (love y'all!!!). It was a nice reprieve from the the insufferable shipping wars in this fandom 😫. Also I have an affinity for opposite forces attract dynamics, (ie. Night and Day, Light and Dark, Brooding and Energetic). These two would also be soooo good together 🙏🙏🙏.

2. My favorite location to put these goobers in is the Autumn Court forest. I love imagining the red and gold leaves swirling in the breeze, catching in each other's hair as they stare at each other romantically. So many things left unsaid... (Scenes like this always have me giggling)

3. Though I haven't made any solid art of these two yet, I have a few scrumptious ideas. However, I have some silly doodles of them interacting. I'm also working on a fic!

4. I usually js sit down in a comfy spot out of sight of everyone else whenever i feel like it. I draw or write on impulse, meaning I can never get stuff done on time 😔. If I do otherwise then I'll get art block.

5. My headcanon for Eris is that he often, and unconsciously, uses sassiness and arrogance to cover up his anxiety or fear in front of others. For some, this is a very annoying trait, others see right through it ofc. My headcanon for Azriel is that behind his tough, unfriendly exterior, he's actually js a rlly sweet guy who likes kittens and comfy sweaters. He's a also a lil psychotic due to all his years of being forced to torture ppl beyond the imaginings of human suffering, so now he enjoys being a torture master. 🤓 For Azriel and Eris together, I hc that since it would be their first time in a long time being in a serious relationship, they desperately don't wanna fuck it up. This leads to them apologizing profusely for minor infractions. Panic attacks, and spiraling are always a threat for the both of them.

8. As I mentioned before, I usually draw on impulse whenever I've got a rlly good idea I can't get out of my head. I don't rlly have anything planned rn but I have ideas for a fluff fic and some art. ☝🤓

9. Most of my biggest art influences are on here. Some are in the ACOTAR fandom and others are in my other fandoms. Two huge art inspirations for me are @copypastus and @elleybug. Yalls art is so scrumptious, it brings me so much joy looking at it. I js want y'all to know that u r huge influences on smaller artists like me. 😋 When it comes to writing, @highlordofkrypton is one of my favorites. I adored your depiction of tamsand in "Wildflowers", and to be able to replicate the way you use symbolism and imagery would be a dream. Another huge inspo is @fourteentrout I love that you have huge catalog of Azris fanfiction that is all masterfully composed in both symbolism and characterization. Whenever I finish one of your fics I always feel a sense of completion 😃.

10. My #1 advice when starting a project js to never set strict deadlines for yourself. What happens in the real world outside of your work cant be controlled. Trying to finish a project under high stress of time limits can have negative effects and in my opinion even diminish the quality of a work. Yes, it's good to have deadlines, they can help you stay organized and on task. But you can't write a 50+ chapter fic from scratch in 2 weeks, that's js not possible in my experience. Basically, the point is, set deadlines that are comfortable for YOU. I know this seems like basic common sense but I've seen ppl try to take way too much on themselves and have terrible repercussions 😔
